Our Service

Based on extensive hands-on experience and CMC – N’s analysis of the situation of mental health and psychosocial services, we realized the need for a service delivery facility to address growing needs of mental health and counselling services.

CMC-Nepal provides psychiatric service twice a week i.e. Monday & Thursday and psycho social counselling and trauma counselling services six days-a-week at its office premise . This service is available for individuals, couples, children, adolescent and families.

The counsellor applies different intervention techniques e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy. The services are well equipped with experienced and compassionate clinicians and caregivers, including psychiatrists, psychologists and counsellors.

  • Severely affected by a conflict

International Supervisor in Psychosocial Work

Ms. Dorothée Janssens de BisthovenCertified Psychologist (MSc)Dorothée began working in 1997 in her home country, Germany, and has since been employed as a counsellor, family-psychotherapist, lecturer,
trainer and supervisor in various clinical, scientific and academic contexts. She has extensive experience of family and trauma therapy as well as hypnotherapy.
For the past 17 years she has led regular workshops on family constellations and the systemic approach. Reflecting her strong interest in intercultural exchange, Dorothée spent time living in Bolivia and Nepal, where she worked as a trainer and supervisor in the psychosocial field.
She currently lives and works in Brussels, where she has her own practice for psychotherapy and counselling in Etterbeek.
