{"id":126,"date":"2015-08-02T08:17:03","date_gmt":"2015-08-02T08:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmcnepal.org.np\/?p=126"},"modified":"2015-08-02T08:17:03","modified_gmt":"2015-08-02T08:17:03","slug":"criteriaforvolunteer-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmcnepal.org.np\/ne\/criteriaforvolunteer-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer \/ Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Criteria for accepting Volunteer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Training Background<\/strong><br \/>\nRecognized training in mental health e.g. Psychiatry, Psychology, Social work, Psychiatric Nursing, Clinical Psychology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nAt least 2 years of hands on experience and post graduate course in one of above faculties.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-cultural working experience will be added benefit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment<\/strong><br \/>\nCommitment for a period of 6 months or more, and at least 3 working days in a week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Language<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Foriegners, communication will be done in English language. However, spoken competency in Nepali Language will be added benefit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>References<\/strong><br \/>\nDesirable if possible<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Criteria for accepting Internship<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As like Volunteer, the interested candidates for Internship should self arrange for the Visa. CMC-Nepal can arrange internship for those interested with guidance and exposure in the field of Mental Health and Psychosocial Counselling, and as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Payment<\/strong><br \/>\nFor the internship, CMC-Nepal will charge USD 600 for three months internship as part of supervisors&#8217; and other logistic costs. The collected amount will be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of the people with mental health problems, who cannot afford the treatment.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Note:\u00a0<\/em><\/span><em>Visa (For Foreigners): As per the prevailing laws of Nepal, CMC \u2013Nepal as an status of NGO, cannot obtain the visa position.
