This year CMC-Nepal has implemented Community Mental Health Programme activities in Bhaktapur, Makwanpur and 10 districts of theWestern Region, in line with the strategic plan. Cooperation arrangements have been agreed with local and regional level health authorities to promote more effective implementation. Mental health services have also started in Okhaldhunga mission hospital with the aim of developing referral points for people from the eastern hill districts and there was also a request from the hospital. Community Mental Health Programme activities are supported financially by Tear Australia and Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM).
